Our Acadia story: My oldest daughter desperately wanted to see Hozier in concert. My wife had been trying for a couple of years to get tickets but they always sold out before she could purchase them at a venue near us. In 2024 she was once again too far back in the "virtual line" to get tickets. She decided to go rogue and started looking at venues across the country. She saw that he was playing in Bangor, Maine, and there were tickets available. She grabbed up the tickets and began planning a family vacation around the concert. Our primary destination: Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We watched the sunrise from Cadillat Summit, hiked around the park, and took in all that the area had to offer before heading over to Bangor for the concert. This was a very special trip for all of us that may not have happened if Hozier was not so popular around here!
