Our Italy story: I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy a few times while I was in the Army. When I was a pilot I ferried airplanes and was able to stop over in Italy. I was also posted there for 90 days to support NATO operations during the Baltic civil war. While stationed in Vicenza, I was able to get away for road trips and took in as many sites as I could. One memorable experience was skiing on the Dolomites (see our map of Mount Ranier for reference to my initiation to skiing). I hope to get back there someday with my family to show them the wonderful country of Italy.
