Our Pennsylvania story:
We have visited various parts of Pennsylvania over the years for holidays, to visit family who now live there, and for gymnastics meets. Our most memorable trip was in the 2010s. We have never lived close to family, so my wife and I often went months (dare I say years...) without a break from the kids. As a surprise, my wife bought us tickets to see John Mellencamp in Hershey, PA, and arranged for her parents to stay with the kids overnight. The weather was perfect the afternoon we left home. We felt like teenagers again, on the open road with the windows down and our music blaring. The concert did not disappoint. That trip with just the two of us is one that is etched in both of our memories.
